Situated in the former premises of the historic Bridge Tavern Pub on Upper St. John Street, Lichfield, the pub is just a one minute walk from Lichfield City Train Station and the Lichfield Bus Station.  

Table Service - No Queuing at a Bar

At The BitterSuite we have excellent knowledge and passion for our products and we are keen to share this with our guests.  Operating as a bar-less pub, table service is offered, creating a traditional, friendly and relaxing experience not to be missed!

Your Permanent Festival

With a constantly changing selection of quality Real Ales, Ciders and Gins we are The BitterSuite, the “Permanent Real Ale, Cider & Gin Festival”.  Also on offer are quality soft drinks, wines, Prosecco and locally sourced pub snacks in order to accommodate all guests' tastes. 

We have extended and revamped our large beer garden to provide a relaxed seating area, seating booths and a large marquee so that you can enjoy outdoor seating whilst protected from the elements.  In addition, our stable building at the rear of the pub, allows additional cosy seating undercover.
